Former City loanees Danny Ward and Jon Stead scored for Mark Robins' Huddersfield Town in a 3-2 win over Leeds United.

David McGoldrick scored a 73rd minute equaliser for Ipswich Town in a 1-1 draw at Bolton.

Danny Philliskirk, who was on a short term contract at City last season, scored for Oldham Athletic in a 2-1 win over Swindon Town.

An 88th minute header from William Edjenguele gave Bury a 2-1 win at Wycombe Wanderers.

Former City youngster scored twice for Wrexham in a 2-0 FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round victory over Hyde United.

Former City youngster Iyseden Christie scored for Halesowen Town in a 3-2 win over Goole FC

Former City youngster Joel Grandison, brother of Jermaine, scored for Bedworth United in a 3-2 defeat to Newcastle Town.

Seeing Red was Elliott Ward sent off in AFC Bournemouth's 2-1 defeat at Leicester City.
