Play With A Bit Of Confidence - Shaw

Thoughts of Richard Shaw

Coventry City caretaker manager Richard Shaw has said City need to start playing with confidence and stop making mistakes.

Speaking to City Club Journalist Keiran Crowley, Richard Shaw said: "It is strange how the results are turning out for us. You look at it on paper and compare the two sides, we definitely look the stronger.

"But when you are up there, you can play without fear. If you make a mistake, it's not as crucial when you are flying at the top of the table.   "But when we make a mistake at the moment, it ends up in the back of the net. When we make a mistake in front of goal at 0-0, it makes everybody anxious and that worry sets in.    "In terms of the side at the moment, the only way we are going to start winning games is by playing with a bit of confidence. I am sure that first win will come and we have to get that result out of our system."   More on this:
