Former Coventry City midfielder Danny Philliskirk has said that he is prospering at Oldham Athletic.
Philliskirk, who was on a short term contract at City last season but like a number of other players was a victim of circumstance, despite some excellent performances for City U21's and not offered a new deal, returned to Oldham where he had started his career as a trainee.
He has now scored four goals in ten outings for the Latics and told their website: "When I was younger, I had some great memories here.
"Obviously I went off to do different things in different places but, when I got the opportunity to come back, I jumped at it. It was the best decision of my life.
"A lot trust has been put in me by the staff and the lads because it is hard sometimes when you go to a place and have to prove people wrong."
