Coventry City have Daniel Philliskirk on trial.
The Oldham born 21 year old midfielder is the son of former Sheffield United star Tony Philliskirk.
Daniel started off at Oldham's youth team before getting a four year deal at Chelsea.
However, he did not make a first team appearance for the West Londoners and was loaned out to Oxford United and Sheffield United for whom he signed after his contract at Chelsea ended.
He has had more Football League experience with another loan at Oxford and was a fringe player for United, scoring for their U21's against City earlier this season.
He is now a free agent after his contract at Bramall Lane ended on January 1st and played well for 78 minutes for City U21's this afternoon in their 3-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday.
