McGoldrick started the month in emphatic fashion, scoring a brace against Crawley Town. When Coventry travelled away to Hartlepool the striker scored a 58th minute penalty to spark a quick goal scoring flurry. He continuted his rich run of form against Colchester with an 87th minute strike

The Sky Blues are 13th in the league this season with 30 points from 22 games. McGoldrick is currently the leading goal scorer in League One with 15 goals so far. He is three infront of current second place, Clayton Donaldson.
