Former Coventry City trialist Peter Shilton has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
The former Leicester and England keeper who played in a couple of first team friendlies for City against Finn Harps and St Albans, whilst on a month's trial, was arrested in Colchester on February 24th and found with excess alcohol in his system.
The 63 year old, who lives in Kenilworth, will appear before Colchester Magistrates on March 19th.
