Pearce praises Blues defender
Cork was in the England Under-21 squad to face Macedonia at the Ricoh Arena on Friday night.
But while Pearce voiced his disappointment that so many of his squad are not first-team players with their clubs, he reserved special praise for the Chelsea youngster.
"I think Jack is doing well and obviously the loan spells he has been having have been fantastic for him because he's at the age now where he needs to be playing first-team football and a lot of my squad are in that category as well," said Pearce.
"I've got a lot of players - I think we counted something like 13 - who are not in their first team which is disappointing for me.
"Jack is fortunate to be out on loan at Coventry and he's doing that because his performances have been good and his attitude is fantastic as well."
