Coventry City manager Steven Pressley thought his young side's performance against Dutch top flight side Heracles Amelo in Tubbergen was 'outstanding'/
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner after the 1-1 draw, Pressley said: “It was an incredible test for us and an outstanding effort from the players.
“You can work to shape and patterns of play but you don’t win games or perform well if your attitude is not bang on, so the players deserve a great deal of credit because it has been a hard week for them.
“They’ve played in very high temperatures and we’ve been very demanding and they were outstanding to a man out there.
“I was proud of their performance and, again, in the second half we played a lot of Academy players and they stood up to it against a top level club in Holland, and we should take a great deal of confidence from that.”
