Osbourne having trial at Aberdeen
Former City player in Scotland Former Coventry City player Isaac Osbourne has had another trial at Scottish club Aberdeen. The 25 year old midfielder was released by Coventry at the end of the season following a season on the sidelines while he recovered from a long term knee ligament injury. He had been at Coventry for eight years from 2003 until 2011 and made 122 appearances. After being told he did not have a future at Coventry by the new manager Andy Thorn, Osborne had a preliminary trial at Craig Brown's Aberdeen side in May, but yesterday he, along with two other trialists, goalkeeper Chris Oldfield and Spanish midfielder Andoitz Galdos were given another chance to earn a deal. Craig Brown, after watching the three trialists being put through their paces said, "There are a few trialists in today, but the main additions will come in on Monday and Tuesday when we are more into game situations, so we can see them in action." Osbourne was vote Coventry City Young Player of the Season in 2005.
