Only One City Fan Banned

Latest arrest figures Figures released by the Home Office today, show that only one Coventry City fan received a banning order preventing them from attending matches.The figure is from November 11th 2009 to November 10th 2010 and means that there are currently 37 Coventry fans with banning orders.Arrests at football matches nationally were down by 10% and not a single fan was arrested whilst following England or Wales abroad.Just under 40m fans watched matches at Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two, FA Cup, League Cup, FA Trophy, League & Conference Play-offs, Conference top division matches, European Cups, internationals and other matches with only 3391 arrests inside or outside a ground with almost a third of those offences being alcohol related.Crime Prevention Minister James Brokenshire said to the Football Supporters Federation: "There are many factors behind this and the greatest credit must go to the fans. But I want to see them continue to build on that good behaviour.
