Former Coventry City loanee Jon Stead has not been offered a new deal by Bristol City.
Stead is now being reported as planning to move back up north away from the relegated club who have offered former Coventry City defender Louis Carey, who lasted less time at City than Peter Reid who signed him, a new deal.
Meanwhile, across the city, Bristol Rovers have released former City loanee Adam Virgo
