Nothing Personal In Getting Rid Of Joe Elliott - Brody
Leonard Brody's view Coventry City Director Leonard Brody has tweeted that it is nothing personal about forcing Joe Elliott to stand down from his position as the club's Life President. Tweeting about Mr Elliott, who had been working for the club on average between sixty and seventy hours a week unpaid, as a Director and Life President before he was asked to step down, Mr Brody, who tonight was in British Vancouver appearing on the Charles Adler Show on Sun TV, in response to a City supporter's question, rejected the notion that Mr Elliott and Mr Hoffman were looking for investors to give the club a long term future, something many City supporters accuse the current board of not being able to provide. The Canadian entrepreneur tweeted: "Their proposal is not investment, it is a take over. Joe decided to work with GH not with the existing team. Nothing personal. "He had decided to work with a competitor...you can't have it both ways. nothing personal. I like Joe." He also tweeted: "if anyone wants to talk to us we have an obligation to listen. Doesn't mean it is for sale."
