Norwich up so its a meaningless game on Saturday Coventry City's final Championship game of the season at Norwich City is now a meaningless game after Norwich won 1-0 at Portsmouth tonight to secure the second automatic promotion spot. Norwich knew what they had to do after Cardiff were beaten 3-0 at home by Middlesbrough in the late afternoon game and a goal from Simeon Jackson secured the Canaries place in the Premier League next season. Norwich could go up as champions if QPR, who are also promoted, are deducted points.
