No Point In Rushing For Players - Thorn

08 July 2011 12:07
City boss forced to play the waiting game Coventry City Manager Andy Thorn has said that he will not be rushing into buying playing players. Thorn has several targets but it is understood that the club's financial problems, mean that City supporters will not be seeing players cominig into the club in the numbers they were last season and what money the manager does have to utilise, will be reserved only for players he feels are better than what are currently in the squad. Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: "It's more difficult to sign players nowadays but we still have irons in the fire and we have to make sure the players we add are as good or better than what we already have here because we need to improve ourselves all the time but that's football and everybody is in the same boat. "I would rather be patient than go rushing in."
