At the end of the summer transfer window and into the start of the emergency loan window, Coventry City indicated that they would like to get one, possibly two Premier league players in on loan.
Last week it emerged that Coventry City could not afford the prices being asked for experienced players and Thorn said he did not want or need even more inexperienced youngsters in his side, so the likelihood of loan players arriving at The Ricoh now look slim.
However Thorn, as usual, remain positive and confident in his young side's abilities to survive and compete in the Championship.
He said the the CT, “To be fair, apart from the Ipswich game, I think we have performed well so far this season and we want to maintain the level of performance we’ve had.
“We have just got to keep doing what we’re doing and I am sure the results will turn.”
