Boothroyd hopes to have players back for Leicester clash With Coventry City not having a game this weekend, the medical staff have an extra week to prepare the walking wounded among the Coventry players for action against their local rivals Leicester City in just over a week's time. Now that the Sky Blues have finally ended the dismal winless run with a timely 2-1 win over Crystal Palace last week, confidence is high and they hope to be able to continue with their revival and head back up the Championship table once again. Coventry City have been without several of their influential players since before Christmas, but Ben Turner, Lee Carsley and Sammy Clingan are al pencilled in for a place on the team sheet for next Tuesday's home game with Swansea. It has been revealed that Clive Platt and Richard Wood are both receiving treatment  for minor knocks picked up during the 2-1 win over Palace last week. City boss Aidy Boothroyd said, “There won’t be a reserve game this week but Sammy and Lee will hopefully be back training today (Thursday) and Ben will possibly be a little bit longer, but they are still in the realms of how they recover from injections and things they have had, so we’ll see, but I am very hopeful that they can be involved against Swansea because I would like that." "We’ve got 15 games left to go so it is a good time to start getting injured players back. Saturday was the best win of the year I’d have to say, and it made for a very nice birthday party and weekend. We have got a couple of bumps and bruises. Clive and Woody are nursing knocks but they’ll be fine." "It was a physical battle at times against Palace and Clive and Paddy McCarthy had a good go together, so it was a good contest.”
