Coventry City have been informed that loanees Chris Dagnall and Chris Maguire will not be available for Saturday's FA Cup Second Round tie at Hartlepool United.
Injuries and suspension mean that Steve Pressley is short of players for the trip to the North East and he had wanted both players to play in the game for which there will be extended highlights on ITV1, but permission to play them has been denied by both Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday.
City's third loanee Danny Seaborne can play in the game.
