New sponsor for Coventry City
City link with City Link Coventry City Football Club have announced who will replace Cassidy Developments as the official club sponsors. City Link have signed a three year deal, the biggest in the club's historian and will see City Link's name on the club's home and away kits, training kits and all other player wear. Commercial Director at Coventry City, Nathan Kosky said, "the agreement carried significant incentives if the Sky Blues reach the Premier League in the next three years". The new deal will begin from the start of the 2010/11 season and replaces the current five year sponsorship of Cassidy Developments, who announced earlier this year that their sponsorship of their hometown club would not be renewed. City Link is a nationally based company, employing more than 5,000 people across the UK. The three year deal reflects City Link's desire to to increase its brand and profile in the area and to raise the company profile across the country.
