New Players Will Give Us A Lift - Keogh

Keogh on hopefully new players coming in

Richard Keogh is delighted that some money is being made available to strengthen the squad in January.

Whether this money is coming from the sale of players, money beng put up by the board or owners or just for loan players, has not been made clear but the Coventry City defender told the CT: “It’s good to know that he’ll be able to stretch the squad because that would give the whole club a lift. We’ve obviously not got as many points as we should have and the table doesn’t lie.

“But we have been very unlucky in a lot of games and I think anybody who’s seen us play knows that we don’t lack confidence – if anything it’s a bit of quality.

“Hopefully in January they’re going to give the manager a little bit to spend so he can bring a few new faces in and I’m sure if he does that we’ll be a stronger team. A few additions, a bit more experience and hopefully we can go on a run.”
