City old boy news Former Coventry City loanee Richard Duffy has signed a new deal at Exeter City. The Welshman who has made over fifty appearances for the Sky Blues on loan has signed a new one year deal with the Grecians. "Staying at Exeter was the best option for me and the club. I believe they can take my career forward," said Duffy to This Is Devon. // "I had a bit of interest but I had a chat with my family and agent and decided that this was the club I wanted to be at. "You want to be playing football but you want to be enjoying it as well. You want to like where you are living and the people you are playing with. All of that's important. "I know the people in Exeter, I have been at the club for two years and I have enjoyed it, so another season will be good for me and the club hopefully.  "There were lots of reasons why I wanted to stay. If you look at where we finished last year I think, if we keep the majority of our players again, we will have another good season next year. "The club are capable of keeping hold of those players. I know the players enjoy playing for the manager so I can't see why not. "This is a different club. No disrespect, but compared to other teams in the division it's quite a small club so they try and do things right and that's all you can ask really."
