Defender Ben Turner has committed his future to Coventry by penning a new three-and-a-half-year deal.

The 22-year-old, who came through the academy system, has made 14 starts this season, scoring four goals in the process.

"This is a terrific signing for Coventry," said manager Aidy Boothroyd.

"He is exactly the sort of player we want at this club. He is young, ambitious, talented and has got the right attitude - he has got everything.

"He has been a real mainstay of the team and I believe with his talent, attitude and temperament he can go all the way to the very top.

"So we are very pleased to have agreed a new contract with Ben and it is great news for the club."
