Pearce offered two year England contract extension Former Coventry City defender Stuart Pearce has been offered a new deal to stay on as manager of England U21's. Pearce was in charge of an England team which won 4-0 in Denmark yesterday and has told the BBC after beng offered a new two year deal: "I enjoy the job I do, so if it's workable, it might well happen," Pearce's current contract expires after this summer's European U21 Championships. He could be the manager of the Great Britain side for the London 2012 Olympics. Debates rage on as to whether the side will comprise of players from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland or just England but Pearce said:  "If I was asked to take a team to the Olympics, I'd be delighted to accept."
