Money Is Available For A Striker

City boss says money is available Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has admitted that there is money available for a striker. The City had poised to bring in Lukas Jutkiewicz on loan from Everton, but Davis Moyes decided that he wanted to sell the striker rather than letting him go out on loan for another season and when quizzed by the CT as to whether he was tempted to buy Jutkiewicz,or indeed any striker if he were to become available, Boothroyd said: "Yes I have but what I don't want to do is spend a big chunk of money from the budget on a player when I could get someone as good on a loan, so that's the reason for the jostling for position and biding my time."If something comes along that I think is going to be absolutely fabulous then we will run after it and get it if we can, but at the same time, Premiership managers are looking at what they have got." "They are going to get injuries and they have got guys coming back from the World Cup, friendlies to fulfil and tours to go on, so what tends to happen is you don't get to find out about these guys right until the death of the transfer window, which, for us, is not so good because we want to get going and get moving."// ');// ]]>"So that's why I am a little bit coy in saying we are going to have one, two or three in. I know what I want and I know what we need. It is just a matter of getting the right ones and getting those round pegs in round holes."Picture copyright of Covsupport News Service. Credit CNS/SB
