Former Coventry City forward Michael Mifsud was back for Malta tonight but he could not prevent a 2-0 home defeat to Israel.
Mifsud who missed Malta's game on Friday played the whole of the game which saw goals for Lior Refaelov and Rami Gershon and Malta finishing bottom of their 2012 European Championship Qaulfiying group with only one point from their ten matches.
Former City forward Craig Bellamy now at Liverpool, played the whole of Wales 1-0 win in Bulgaria.
