Gary McSheffrey has thanked the Coventry City supporters for their support.
McSheffrey who ended his tenure at the Sky Blues by cancelling his contract by mutual consent, tweeted: "Thanks to all the fans at Coventry City.
"Truly lived my boyhood dream in playing for my hometown club.
"Gonna miss pulling on a Sky Blue top."
