Gary McSheffrey has hailed the impact big striker Clive Platt has had on Coventry`s march into the Championship play-off places. Platt, a summer signing from Colchester, nodded down an Aron Gunnarsson cross for McSheffrey to head home and clinch Saturday`s 1-0 win over Sheffield United, which moved City up to fourth in the table. McSheffrey told the Coventry Telegraph: "It was a good goal, the sort of thing we work on in training all the time. "Lukas Jutkiewicz held the ball up well all afternoon and he made the space for Aron Gunnarsson to get in a great cross. "We know that Platty can beat anybody in the air at the back stick and his cushioned headers are fantastic - he's one of the best I've played with for that."
