Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that Gary McSheffrey might be back on the bench for the trip to Hartlepool.
The experienced Coventry born player was dropped from the bench for the Scunthorpe game in favour of Adam Barton but Mark Robins told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner; "I can only pick 18 players for a squad and Gary just missed out against Scunthorpe, but he might be back on Saturday.
"We're trying to get him fit and consistent. He did ok against Leyton Orient when he missed a couple of chances but he was in a position to score and I have not changed my mind about him, I just feel we need to work with him more."
