Gary McSheffrey has joined Chesterfield FC.
McSheffrey had two spells for his home town club Coventry City, making over 240 appearances, but was recently paid off from his exisiting contract due to his wages being not within the Sky Blue's current budget.
McSheffrey who: "New chapter with Chesterfield FC. Good to be back in the mix!!", will team up with former City midfielder Paul Cook who is the manager and Cov Kid Ian Evatt who joined Chesterfield after being released from Blackpool.
