According to one football rumours site, Northampton Town are interested in Coventry City midfielder Gary McSheffrey.
After failing to compete for the first thirty minutes in Saturday's League Two Play-Off Final against Bradford City, Northampton boss Aidy Bothroyd is understood to be strengthening his squad to ensure the Cobblers gain promotion nest season.
McSheffrey is not part of City boss Steven Pressley's plans and was substituted in every one of the four games that he played under Pressley before he was first dropped to the bench and then left out completely.
