McSheffrey Gets First Chesterfield Goal

Gary McSheffrey scored his first goal for Chesterfield since joining them in September.

McSheffrey scored in the eleventh minute of a 4-3 defeat at Morecambe. Chesterfield, managed by former City midfielder Paul Cook had taken a 3-0 lead.

Danny Sturridge scored Liverpool in a 3-1 win over Crystal Palace at Anfield.

Lee Hughes scored for Port Vale in a 1-1 draw against Bristol City.

Former City youngster Matty West scored for Stratford Town in a 2-2 FA Trophy draw with Coalville Town.

Former City loanee Kasper Schmeichel, now at Leicester City, was credited with an own goal after fumbling a 17th minute corner from Doncaster's Mark Duffy.
