Minor surgery required One of Coventry City's more experienced defenders, James McPake is to undergo minor surgery later this week which will keep him sidelined for a week to ten days. McPake, who has been recovering from injury and has not yet started a game for the Sky Blues this season, but has played in a couple of reserve games,  will have the operation on Friday. Speaking to the CT, Coventry City manager Andy Thorn said, “James has played a couple of reserve games recently and had a little reaction. I think it is a little scrape op to his ankle or shin that needs doing.”
