McPake hopes for momentum

Coventry's fit-again defender James McPake hopes an extended run in Chris Coleman's side can coincide with the Sky Blues' climb up the Championship table. The 25-year-old, a transfer window signing last year from Livington, has been restricted to only a handful of appearances this season, while Coventry have won four and lost one of their five league matches since McPake returned from a shoulder injury last month. McPake told his club's official website: "Last year was really disappointing for me because of injury, but now I'm feeling fit and strong again and I'm looking forward to getting as many games under my belt as I possibly can. "Personally, it was about time I strung some games together after getting fit again, so fingers crossed I can stay that way. "Everyone was gutted about the defeat to Portsmouth on Tuesday because we felt like we deserved to go through, but it was a better performance than the one against Barnsley which was important for us. "As far as the team is concerned everyone is still buzzing as well with the way we have been in the league and we're going into every game at the moment believing we can win, so hopefully we can keep that feeling going for Saturday."
