Defender could be fit for Saturday Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has bee handed a boost before Saturday's away game at Crystal Palace with the news that defender James McPake has recovered from his back injury and could be fit to be int e squad. The news will be welcomed as another defender. Leon Barnett will be serving a mandatory one match ban following his sending off for two bookable offences against Newcastle on Wednesday. Chris Coleman told the club website, "There is a god chance James McPake will be available because his back is getting better all the time." Speaking about the loss of Barnett, Coleman said, "It's a shame for Leon as he was outstanding at Newcastle and he didn't deserve to be sent off." Coleman also spoke about his other injury worries saying, "Ben Turner hasn't any match fitness at all and we need to get him some reserve games." Coleman's other injury concerns are striker Freddy Eastwood (hamstring and groin) and Gary Deegan (hamstring), both of whom had to be substituted on Wednesday. Both players should be fit for Saturday, but  might not figure in the starting eleven.
