McKenzie unsure over City future

The former Norwich player got a five-minute run out at the end of the 1-0 defeat against Swansea in what was his first competitive match since he ruptured his Achilles tendon in February. But the 31-year-old's contract at the Ricoh Arena has wound down while he has been injured although manager Chris Coleman has stated several times that he would like to keep the striker in his squad. McKenzie told the Coventry Telegraph said: "I'm out of contract at the end of the month so I don't know if I have a future at Coventry. "I know the gaffer has been behind me but the decision isn't down to him, it's the chairman and the other people at the club. "I believe that I've still got a lot to offer but those things are out of my hands." McKenzie believes the Sky Blues have what it takes to make an impact on the Championship this season. said: "I'm sure this squad is good enough. "The players who have come in look good but it takes time to gel and it's hard to get consistency right away."
