Winger granted free transfer Coventry City manager Aidy Bothroyd is set to release left winger Michael McIndoe on a free transfer next month. McIndoe's contract expires in the summer, but Boothroyd will allow the experienced left sided player leave in the January transfer window on  free transfer. The 31 year old Scottish international joined Coventry City from Bristol City in August 2007 for an undisclosed fee and played 41 games for City, scoring one gaol against Plymouth Argyle. He has struggled to convince the City faithful that he has sufficient quality to be e regular member of the team and was subsequently loaned out to MK Dons earlier in the season. The news that a highly experience international winger will be available on a free transfer will doubtlessly invoke interest from a host of clubs interested in looking to bolster their squads in the January transfer window.
