McDermott Happy With A Point

Opposing Managers View Reading boss Brian McDermott was pleased with his team's point at the Ricoh Arena in the 1-1 draw against Coventry City. Speaking to the Press Association, McDermott said:"I think if we had made it 2-1, we might have gone on to win the game. "Having said that, if you get a penalty against you with 10 seconds to go and you still get a result, you've got to take that. "I would have been very pleased if Noel Hunt's penalty had gone in but it was a bit edgy at times. "It is probably a better result for us in the end than it was for them. "Our keeper made some good saves but he is a top-class keeper."
