City Old Boy News Former Coventry City midfielder Martin Jol is back in English football as manager of Fulham. Jol had been lined up for the job before Mark Hughes was appointed but did a u-turn and stayed at Ajax Amsterdam until he left in December. Now he has decided that the time is right to become the new manager of the Cottagers and the 55 year old has agreed an initial two-year contract at Craven Cottage with the option of a further twelve months. Speaking to Fulham's club website, Jol said:"I am very happy to join Fulham Football Club, a wonderful traditional club.  "It is a club with good, solid foundations and a great fan base. "I am looking forward to being part of the Fulham family and thank the chairman for the trust he's shown in me."
