Leon Clarke has said that Coventry City manager Mark Robins made the decision easy for him to join the Sky Blues.
Clarke, who joined on what Charlton Athletic have described on their website, as a 28 day loan, told Sky Blue Player's Nick Connoll: "Knowing Coventry City were interested and speaking to the manager made it a quick and easy decision for me because he spoke great things about the club and where he wants the team to go,
Clarke was a second half substitute against Shrewsbury yesterday and added; "The Shrewsbury defeat is disappointing but if we can get back to stringing results together like we have been the league position will take care of itself because the quality of the team is there for everyone to see."
