Former Coventry City manager Mark Robins is in the betting to become the next manager of Manchester United.
Following the official announcement that leaked out last night that the most successful manager of any English league side Sir Alex Ferguson is to retire as manager, the betting world has gone into a frenzy.
Huddersfield Town boss Mark Robins, who played for United is being quoted as a 949/1 shot by Betfair whilst former City midfielder Martin Jol is being quoted at 66/1, the same price as former City defender Sam Allardyce.
Former City player and manager who also played for Manchester United Gordon Strachan is 100/1 shot, whilst one time City trialist Kevin Keegan is a 250/1 shot.
Favourite is currently Everton boss David Moyes at 2/7.
