Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has joined calls for those involved in the fixing of football matches to be made an example of.
The City boss told Andy Turner:of the Coventry Telegraph; “I think a few people might have looked at some of my performances and thought there was something dodgy going on, but I’ve never experienced anything like that.
“It’s sad to see that it allegedly exists within our game. I think it’s quite frightening and something that, if found guilty, they must get the maximum sentence they can be given because I think that’s completely unacceptable.
“You just hope that with it coming to the fore that it will nip it in the bud. They have to make a real example of those who are involved if found guilty.”
