Coventry City new loanee Chris Maguire was delighted to have bagged a brace of stunning free kicks on his debut for the Sky Blues in a 3-1 win at MK Dons.
The Scot who is on loan from Sheffield Wednesday, scored twice late on to delight the 6,781 City supporters, his new team-mates and the City management.
Speaking to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire's Geoff Foster, Maguire said: "Great to get on the pitch. It's been a while since I played on a Saturday. It was good to get a run out and cap it off with two goals but more importantly the team won.
"I could not have picked a better end to put them in. You could see the reaction of the fans and how much it meant to them. I was delighted they went in but it was a big three points for us and I'm delighted for them.
"The fans were brilliant today, a big support and I am glad they went away happy."
