Could Coventry try to sign Manchester United starlet? Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has said he would be prepared to loan out his Italian starlet teenage striker Federico Macheda to the club where he will play most games. During the summer Coventry City were linked with a move for the 19 year old striker, but the rumour was the lad didn't want to go on loan and he wanted to fight for a place in Ferguson's side. There are several Premier League clubs prepared to chase the teenager with Aston Villa being the first club to make contact with United. Everton, Wigan, West Brom, Birmingham and West Ham have all shown interest as have some foreign clubs Sir Alex Ferguson said, 'Macheda has to play games. Clubs who convince me and the player that he'll get games are the ones we'll consider. He's thinking about Italy, but I hope it's going to be in the Premier League because it is competitive and it's where he is going to end up playing.' Ferguson recently recalled two of his players who were on loan at Preston North End, but recalled them after his son Darren was sacked by the Lancashire club.  Danny Welbeck is on loan at Sunderland, Mame Diouf is at Blackburn and Tom Cleverley, who is at Wigan are all on loan from United, but Ferguson is determined not to allow a similar situation as the one surrounding the loan of Giuseppe Rossi a few years ago at Newcastle. 'They never played him. And he was an outstanding player,' said Ferguson.
