Lukas Jutkiewicz enjoying the tough life in the Championship.

He loves the no nonsense style Coventry City's striker Lukas Jutkiewicz has spoken about how much he is enjoying his football in the Npower Championship. The striker has been a regular in Aidy Boothroyd's side and has scored four goals so far this season, although only one from open play, the other three were from the penalty spot. Jutkiewicz joined City from Everton in the summer of 2010, where he was a fringe player and only managed one game for the Toffees.  He spent most of his Everton days out on loan, including a season at Motherwell. Aidy Boothroyd originally tried to sign him on a season long loan, but Everton were keen to sell the player and so Coventry City made an acceptable offer for the young striker. Jutkiewicz has settled in well at The Ricoh and is now enjoying his football, although he is frustrated at not getting more goals than he has. He told the Sunday Mercury, “You have to be level headed because you are going to have ups and downs and you have to treat them the same." “The Championship is a really competitive league and that’s not something I have been that used to at other clubs, up in Scotland for example." "I knew there would be physical challenges but I enjoy that and it is much better than playing a few games now and again in the reserves which is what I was doing at Everton.”
