Loan switch for Jeffers
Promising Coventry striker Shaun Jeffers has joined Blue Square Bet Premier side Cambridge on loan until March 15.
The 18-year-old spent the first half of this season on loan at Cheltenham, making 25 appearances although only five of them were starts, and duly opted against extending his stay until the end of the campaign in search of more regular first-team football.
Jeffers has made five career appearances for the Sky Blues, all of which came last season under Chris Coleman.
