Let's finish strongly - Boothroyd

Aidy Boothroyd wants to see his Coventry side finish the season with a flourish having rediscovered their form of late. The Sky Blues` hopes of a play-off spot all but evaporated with their recent 10-match winless streak, but a spring is back in the step at the Ricoh Arena following victory over Crystal Palace, an impressive - albeit losing - performance against Swansea and a 1-1 derby draw at Leicester. City have ended their previous two campaigns with a whimper but Boothroyd wants this year to be different - and optimistically has not completely ruled out a late play-off charge after Blackpool finished sixth last term with 70 points. "The lads are very upbeat after getting what was a really good point for us against a good team on Saturday," he told the Coventry Telegraph. "As a group of players and staff, we definitely feel we are going in the right direction and we want to finish the season on a high and make sure we keep the season alive all the way to the end. There are a lot of games coming up and it is important that we get on a run. "We have got five games in two weeks and we have got to work as hard as we can to get as many points as we can, and that's always going to be the aim. We have got 40 points at the moment and we want to work hard to get to 50 first, then to 60 and who knows, perhaps even 70."
