Leamington Thankful For Support

Leamington FC have said thank you to Sky Blue Trust members and Coventry City supporters who attended their game against Altrincham on Saturday.

A bumper crowd of 857 at the New Windmill Ground saw the Brakes go down to a 1-0 defeat to Conference North leaders Altrincham.

Leamington FC have issued a statement saying: "Leamington FC wishes to thank all fans for their support.  "It was great to see lots of new faces at the NWG on Non League day with quite a few  Premiership,Championship  and Sky Blues Trust fans taking advantage of the reduced admission price offer for season tickets holders and members.

The club wishes to apologise to fans for delays in exiting the car park today and will review the operating procedures we have in place.  There were an unusually high number of incoming vehicles into the car park post the final whistle and this was exacerbated by the need to prioritise the exit of the ambulance taking the injured Altrincham player to hopsital.  Leamington FC wishes him a speedy recovery.

We thank you all for your support and look forward to seeing you at the NWG for the games against Solihull Moors and Gainsborough Trinitiy in just over a weeks time."
