Higgs Trust Clerk Claims

Clerk to the Trustees of the Higgs Trust, Peter Knatchbull-Hugessen has rubbished the claim made by Coventry City CEO Tim Fisher that no deal had made over the Ricoh Arena rent.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph, Mr Knatchbull-Hugessen said that he was at the meeting, of which he made notes on January 29th and that Mr Fisher had not only shaken hands on agreeing heads of terms on a deal for the rent but said: "Thank You gentlemen. "We can put the past behind us and move forward."

Mr Knatchbull-Hugessen, who has questioned why SISU did not sign to buy the Higgs share of the Ricoh Arena, told the Coventry Telegraph: "The only thing you can conclude is they want to get hold of an asset as hedge funds do and move it on. "The only asset surrounding Coventry City is the Ricoh Arena."
