King to be checked

Marlon King will undergo a late fitness test to determine whether he makes Coventry`s trip to Hull. The striker made his first professional start in over a year as the Sky Blues saw off Doncaster 2-1 and sustained a dead leg just after the hour mark as he started to feel the pace. If he does make it then he is guaranteed a hot reception at the KC Stadium on his first visit to an away ground since his return to the game. King was on loan with the Tigers in December 2008 when he was involved in the nightclub incident that saw him sentenced to 18 months in prison. Elsewhere, City manager Aidy Boothroyd revealed matchwinner Gary McSheffrey, fellow winger Danny Ward and Martin Cranie all took knocks against Rovers in midweek and will be assessed. Midfielder David Bell (thigh) will also be looked at by Coventry`s medical team.
