"It's a delicate situation" The long running, fast becoming boring, saga surrounding the controversial signing of Marlon King continues to run unabated. Mirror Football is reporting that Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd said the move was "inevitable". The 30 year old King was released from prison in July after serving nine months of an 18 month sentence for sexual assault and actual bodily harm, a charge King has vowed to clear his name from. “It is something that is inevitable. We are sorting some things out,” said Boothroyd.  “He looks very, very sharp and he will get goals." Boothroyd and new assistant manager Martyn Pert both worked with King when they were all at Watford. // '); // ]]> “When he came to Watford he was hungry and had a point to prove and that’s the Marlon King that we have got here now. He is ready and wants to sign. There are no problems, it is just a very delicate situation. “The club have been as professional as they possibly can be in making sure we have covered all bases, that we make sure everything is right for the player, the club and everyone concerned with it.”
