King has fitness test at Coventry
I think he would be absolutely fantastic for us : Boothroyd Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has confirmed that disgraced striker Marlon King has undergone a series of fitness tests at the Ryton training ground. It would now appear that a deal depends on whether King and his advisers agree to the package offered by Coventry City. Boothroyd confirmed, “The situation with Marlon is still ongoing, but we are quite close now and it’s getting closer. We’re talking and we’ve had him in to do some tests on him." “We always like to be thorough so we do a lot of tests on our players and I wanted to see where he is in comparison should we press the button and should he wish to come." “We want to make sure he’s right if we can get this over the line and I think he would be absolutely fantastic for us if we can do that.”
